Roof lanterns are a stunning way to fill a room with natural light, but large areas of overhead glass can also bring unwanted glare and make it harder to keep the room comfortable throughout the year. Made-to-measure Roof Lantern Blinds give you greater control over the light entering your home while allowing you to enjoy your roof lantern whenever you choose.
Available in a choice of light-filtering and blackout fabrics, Roof Lantern Blinds can provide welcome shade on bright days, reduce glare on televisions and screens and create a more comfortable living space. Specialist cellular and pleated fabrics can also provide an additional insulating layer beneath the glazing, helping reduce heat gain during warmer weather and retain warmth during colder months.
As roof lanterns are often positioned well out of reach, motorised operation makes controlling your blinds simple and convenient. Depending on the system selected, blinds can be operated by remote control or wall switch, with mains-powered, rechargeable battery and solar-powered options available for installations where running new electrical cabling may not be practical.
With a variety of fabric and frame colours available, a bespoke Roof Lantern Blind can be designed to complement both your roof lantern and the surrounding décor, giving your extension, kitchen, orangery or living space a clean and contemporary finish.
